My name is Alex Poulos. I’m a software developer and classicist based in the Washington DC area. In May, 2019, I finished my PhD at Catholic University of America on the influences of Callimachus of Alexandria on poetry of Gregory of Nazianzus (c. 330–390 AD). I presently work as a Full Stack Software Engineer for the Washington Post. I also work on the side as a freelance software developer. This site is primarily an outlet for my scholarly interests in Greek and Latin literature (pagan and Christian), digital humanities, and other related things. Enjoy!
